LEH – LADAKH
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi (check-in time 1200hrs.)
Arrive Delhi Meeting & Assistance at the Airport, Transfer to Hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat the Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of India, Red Fort.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02, Delhi - Leh.
Early morning at about 0330hrs. transfer to Airport for flight to Leh. (Please note, all Leh flight departs early in the morning at about 0530hrs and have to report, atleast 2 hrs. prior to departure time, due to security reasons).
Arrive Leh (3505M), greet by our representative at airport and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the compelete rest for acclimatization. Later afternoon visit SHANTI STUPA (JAPANESE PAGODA) and LOCAL BAZAAR and its back streets. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03, Leh.
Morning sightseeing of Leh town visiting STOK PALACE museum and His Holiness DALAI LAMA residence. Back to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon visit SPITUK MONASTERY AND LEH PALACE overlooking the Leh town. Overnight in hotel.
Day 04, Indus valley sightseeing.
Today we will be proceeding for a full day excursion trip to Indus valley visiting the prominent monasteries like THIKSE and HEMIS and SHEY PALACE. The Indus valley is the most greenish and fertile land in the whole Ladakh as the Indus river follows right through the middle of the valley. We will also enjoy the picnic lunch provided by our hotel. Retrace to hotel for overnight.
Day 05, Sham valley sightseeing.
After breakfast we proceed for a full day excursion tour of Sham valley (lower Ladakh), to visit BASGO CASTLE, huge Buddha Statue at LIKIR GOMPA and the most famous ALCHI CHOSKOR (Religious Enclave) - reknown for its frescoes, stucco art and wood carving which are about 1000 years old. later retrace to Leh. Rest of the day free for your independent activities. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 06,
Leh – Delhi fly. Early morning transfer to KBR airport Leh to board flight to Delhi
Arrive Delhi, visit NEW DELHI - Birla Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple), India Gate, Parliament Street, NATIONAL MUSEUM, Humayun Tomb, Qutub Minar.
Later after DINNER at local restaurant (Chineese)
Evening transfer to airport to board your flight to your home country.
